Mentioning Tongue & Groove records in yesterdays post reminded me that Izit were a well known T&G act during the 90's.
However, I have this 12 inch of theirs they brought out in 1990 called "Make Way For The Originals" and this one is on the Pig & Trumpet label. This is the only record on this label I have ever seen so have no idea if this was a one-off single or if P&T have released other recordings.
I also have this press release (top item) showing Izit released this same track on Optimism Records the following year.
Optimism had a pretty short life as far as I'm aware, on the go for a couple of years in the early 90's.
